Would you like your child to be more confident, positive and imaginative during the day and go to sleep calm, content and relaxed at night?
Relax Kids offers a unique system of children's relaxation and personal development that has been used by thousands of parents, teachers, play workers and therapists. Relax Kids has been devised and developed by Marneta Viegas - UKs leading expert in children's relaxation.
Relax Kids encourages children to develop a healthy approach to being alone. Creative visualisation becomes a sanctuary, helping to promote restful sleep and a happy outlook.

Indigo Kidz hope to educate parents and children about the magic of meditation and relaxation and offer ways to help children manage stress, fill their hearts and minds with self-confidence and develop their self-worth.
The Author, Amy Hamilton, is a former primary and secondary school teacher who now teaches meditation to children and writes resources and books to nurture children’s spirituality. As part of our class structure, peer massage is rated by over 1/3 of the children who participate in Calm for Kids as their favourite part of the class.
This book contains over 50 massage stories that offers the opportunity to establish the importance of sharing healthy touch with your child.
Research shows that touch can: increase attentiveness in children, reduce pain, bring calming benefits and boost the immune system, among other benefits. Enjoying positive touch can be of enormous benefit for a child and parent, or, in a classroom setting, child and child.
This book has been developed with a child’s language in mind. Storytelling is used to connect with and engage the child. Toddlers, preschoolers and school age children especially enjoy stories that integrate playful massage strokes and allow them to participate in the telling of the story.
The massage stories concentrate on the shoulders, arms, back, neck, head and face which also makes them practical for use with students in a classroom setting.
Research has shown that there is a place for massage in aiding the performance, alertness and ability of children in the classroom setting. Hart et al (Preschoolers’ Cognitive Performance Improves Following Massage, 1998) proved that massage plays a part in improving the cognitive performance of preschool children, and Field et al (Massage Therapy Reduces Anxiety and Enhances EEG Pattern of Alertness and Math Computation, 1996) found that mental alertness and ability improved after massage therapy.
